This manual is created to support a basic course for trainee responders without any previous experience with sea turtles or oil spill response. After following the course, the basic sea turtle responder can help with operational activities at the beach, offshore or at the rescue centre, under supervision of a specialist sea turtle responder.

This manual was developed as part of the EUROWA-2 project, co-funded by the European Union Civil Protection (2021-2022).
