We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you, or when it is legally required. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used. We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law, or when it is necessary for provision of our services. Personal information concerning members of the EUROWA Network may be shared with relevant government and industry organisations within the framework of an oiled wildlife emergency response. Specific privacy procedures are in place for the EUROWA Network, their organisations and individuals that have a log in account within this website.  Specific privacy procedures covering this information will be communicated separately to the relevant users.

For users subscribing to the EUROWA Newsletter on our website, we store the personal information they provide when completing the contact form. Subscribers can request to unsubscribe or edit their personal information at any time.

For EUROWA Network Members who are registered on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). We as website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of our desired services.
