Following the Tricolor incident in 2003, Belgium started to develop a national response plan, which was implemented in 2005. It closely follows the IPIECA Guidelines and has the recommended tripartite structure – Strategy, Operations and Data. The plan is available in Dutch and English and its latest version (2006) can be requested from secretariat@sea-alarm.org.
